Starting vocational school felt like turning a fresh page. A new place, new people, and maybe… a new me. Someone who wouldn’t make the same mistakes. Someone who would finally feel whole.
In the beginning, it really did feel like a new beginning. A boy noticed me — his gaze lingered, and before we had even spoken, I knew his name, his course, what he studied. When we finally talked, things moved fast. And soon, we were together.
At first, it felt right. He made me laugh, feel seen. We spent time together, and for a moment, I thought: Maybe I’m finally allowed to be happy.
